The Four Rooms of Change helps you manage your work environment systematically. With The Four Rooms, you can ensure participation from everyone, receive built-in follow-up, and obtain measurable results.
The Four Rooms of Change is an approved training provider for systematic work environment management (SAM).
With the Four Rooms of Change, you get the tools you need to manage your work environment systematically, in the long term, and in a sustainable manner.
What is systematic work environment management? SAM is described in the Work Environment Act and is simply the work that must be carried out at every workplace to ensure a good work environment. Employers have ultimate responsibility, regardless of workplace size, and the work is carried out in collaboration between employers and employees.
One of the biggest benefits of using the Four Rooms of Change for SAM is that the Organization Barometer can coordinate numerous initiatives that would otherwise occur in different parts of the organization. It is fast, effective, and profitable.
Support for research at Lund University
Applied research on employee surveys, sometimes referred to as anonymous questionnaires, has been conducted at Lund University for several years. The research has shown that employee surveys have significant and recurring shortcomings. These include low participation, unclear results, and—not least—managers being singled out with little or no opportunity to influence the process.
Employee surveys or the Organizational Barometer?
A comparison of employee surveys and the Organizational Barometer revealed that the Four-Room Model and the Organizational Barometer counteract most of the weaknesses and negative effects found in employee surveys.
Advantages of using the Four-Room Model in SAM:
- Everyone is involved.
- Everyone’s voice is heard and taken into account.
- Analysis and processing are done openly and in direct collaboration with those concerned.
- Action plans are designed and implemented directly.
- Work can begin immediately.
- Both staff and management can compare data and results over time in a concrete and systematic way.
