The Family Barometer

The Family Barometer helps families reflect on how they function as a unit.

The Family Barometer is one of the analytical instruments in the Four Rooms of Change concept. It consists of 40 questions to help family members understand how they currently function and how they would like to function.

  • How are we doing as a family?
  • What could be better?
  • What ideas do we have for change and development?

In the Family Barometer, the family works together to formulate action plans that apply to everyone. These plans can then be reviewed regularly.

The Family Barometer can be used as a standalone initiative for an individual family or as an in-depth follow-up after Four Rooms of Change has been implemented in a school class.
